Flaky, all-butter golden pastry filled with a delicately spiced sweet filling, baked until crisp and aromatic.
Mix the flour, yeast, and a pinch of salt with 300ml warm water, knead 5 minutes, and let rise 1 hour.
Combine the meat, onion, tomatoes, tahini, pomegranate molasses, salt, and pine nuts.
Divide the dough into 12 balls and roll each into a thin 10cm disc, pinching the edges up to form small open pies.
Spoon the meat mixture generously into each disc.
Bake at 220C for 12-15 minutes until the edges are golden and the meat is cooked.
Serve warm with lemon wedges and yogurt.
