Flaky, all-butter golden pastry filled with a delicately spiced sweet filling, baked until crisp and aromatic.
Knead the lamb with grated onion, allspice, cinnamon, and cloves until sticky and smooth.
With wet hands, form the mixture into small sausages about 5 cm long.
Simmer the sausages in salted water for 10 minutes, then drain and pat dry.
Fry in olive oil over medium-high heat until browned on all sides.
Add the pomegranate molasses and toss until sticky and caramelised.
Serve warm scattered with parsley and pine nuts, with toothpicks for picking.
