Flaky, all-butter golden pastry filled with a delicately spiced sweet filling, baked until crisp and aromatic.
Knead the flour, yeast, salt, and water for 10 minutes into a smooth, slightly firm dough.
Cover and rest 30 minutes.
Divide into 8 pieces; roll each into a 50 cm rope, fold it in two, twist the strands together, and join the ends into a ring, pressing to seal.
Dip each ring first in the thinned grape molasses, then press into the sesame seeds to coat thickly.
Bake at 230C for 12-15 minutes until deep golden with a crackly crust.
Cool slightly and serve with a chilled glass of salted yogurt drink.
