An indulgent artisan dessert, beautifully crafted with premium ingredients and presented with exquisite garnishes for a memorable finale.
Knead the flour with 2 tbsp ghee and the warm water into a soft dough and rest it 30 minutes under a damp cloth.
Fry the cashews and raisins in 1 tbsp ghee, then mix in the grated coconut, sugar, and cardamom powder.
Divide the dough and roll 6-7 paper-thin rounds (pathiris).
Place a pathiri on a plate, brush with ghee, spread a layer of the coconut filling, and stack the next pathiri on top; repeat and seal the final edges well.
Press the stack gently and shallow-fry it in the remaining ghee over low heat until both sides are golden and crisp.
Drain, slice into wedges like a pathiri, and serve the sweet chatti pathiri warm.
