Hand-stretched artisan flatbread baked against the searing clay walls of the tandoor, brushed with golden butter and fresh herbs.
Mix the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt, then knead in the yogurt, 1 tbsp of the melted butter, and warm water for 8 minutes into a soft dough.
Cover and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 to 1.5 hours until doubled.
Divide into 6 balls and roll each into an oval about 1/4 inch thick.
Brush one side with water and cook it water-side down on a very hot frying pan until puffed and charred in spots, then flip and cook the other side.
Stir the minced garlic and coriander into the remaining melted butter and brush it generously over the hot naan.
Stack and serve warm with curries.
